As part of a VHN project, staff from more than 50 Entry Point services across Victoria contributed to the SMASHED research, providing firsthand insights into the challenges facing the sector.

The findings highlight growing pressures on Entry Point services and underline the need for sustained investment and reform to ensure services can effectively respond to increasing demand.

At the last Census, 30,660 Victorians were without a home (including 6,800 children) – that’s 27 per cent of Australia’s total (112,494).
